Your African safari starts when you arrive in Nairobi. We can pick you up at the airport and help you manage the hassle of getting to your hotel. The next day, after an included breakfast, adventure off on your first game drive at Maasai Mara National Reserve – the most famous game area in Kenya. This reserve has a strong permanent population of wildlife, so stay on the lookout for the “Big 5” – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo. You will spend two full days at this reserve.

Next, fly south for a quick stop in South Africa’s capital city of Johannesburg before heading to Zimbabwe. A trip to Africa wouldn’t be complete without experiencing Victoria Falls. We’ve arranged for you to have a private, guided walk of the mighty falls and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, where you’ll have an opportunity to take photographs of the wildlife and sip on a drink as you watch a spectacular African sunset—the perfect ending to a day of discovery!

Finally, fly into beautiful Cape Town where your Local Host® will take you on a private tour of the city’s highlights. Ascend to the top of Table Mountain, visit the penguins at Boulders Beach, and stop at the Cape of Good Hope – the southernmost point on the African continent. The following day is free to explore on your own or you can join an optional excursion. Consider a visit to the beautiful Cape winelands for a magical day winery visits and tastings. From June to December you can also choose to go whale-watching in Hermanus, the self-proclaimed whale-watching capital of the world.
